Mariners Compass

Karen from Arkansas used Yolanda's "Felix" line of red and black fabrics to create her mariner’s compass quilt, measuring 112" square, which she intends to hand quilt with red thread.  Great job, Karen!

Marsha Day from Madison, Alabama and her sister, Jane Crandall from Hickory, North Carolina worked on this project together when Jane came for a visit. Jane cut out all the flowers, leaves, stems, etc. and designed the bouquet, while Marsha pieced all the blocks and added the borders to complete the quilt. It will hang in the foyer of Marsha's home. They had fun collaborating on this quilt.

This quilt was made by Karen Anderson from Blairstown, NJ, using the Patriotic Garden pattern from the January 2006 issue of The Quilter Magazine. Karen decided to make this quilt to be raffled off for her son’s football team as a fund raiser. (This pattern will be added soon to our offerings.)

Gloria Cardello from Morristown, NJ used black and white fabrics instead of neutrals to create a striking rendition of the Tea House quilt.  She calls hers Black Tea.

Joyce Rhodes from Washington, DC created this cute quilt for a friend's baby girl, using the Wilderness Through the Maze pattern (found on page 2 of the pattern section).

Kimberly Whispell from Rhinebeck, NY shows off her Blue Christmas quilt from Barbara's pattern in Quilting for Christmas 2005.
This is Nancy Guilfoil's Christmas version of the Path to the Orient design (seen on patterns page 2 and published in the November 2005 issue of The Quilter magazine). She decided to use red and green metallic fabrics to create a holiday lap quilt. Nancy lives in St. Louis, Missouri, with her friend Pebbles, a Bernese Mountain Dog.
